How we collect SMS consent
Ella Cress Skin Care
Ella Cress Skin Care only sends text messages to people who have asked to receive them. This page shows exactly where and how we collect that consent, and reproduces the wording clients agree to. It is published for transparency and for carrier review.
Where consent is collected
Clients opt in while booking an appointment on this website. On the final step of booking, after choosing a service and an appointment time, we show a consent checkbox directly above the confirmation button, alongside the contact details being submitted. Checking that box is what records consent.
The checkbox is unchecked by default, and consent is entirely optional: the booking is completed the same way whether the box is checked or not. Agreeing to text messages is never a condition of booking an appointment, purchasing a service or product, or receiving care from Ella Cress Skin Care.
The consent language shown to clients
This is a copy of the checkbox as it appears during booking, reproduced here exactly. It is shown for review only and is not interactive.
What happens right after you opt in
Consent is recorded the moment you check the box and submit the booking. We then send one welcome message confirming it: “Ella Cress Skin Care: You're subscribed to appointment and account messages from us, and you can reply here any time with questions. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel.”
If you did not check the box, we send you nothing. Booking without it works exactly the same way.
What we record
Each opt-in is written to an append-only log that we never edit or delete. It stores your phone number, the number Ella Cress Skin Care will text you from, the page you were on, the exact wording you agreed to, the version of these policies in force at the time, the value of the checkbox, whether you or a staff member acted, your IP address, and the timestamp.
Ella Cress Skin Care does not buy phone lists, scrape contacts, or import numbers from third parties into this messaging program.
Consent given in person or by phone
Clients who book by phone or in person can ask a staff member to text them. Staff record that request against your client record, with the time and the name of the staff member who took it, and it is stored in the same log as a staff-recorded consent rather than one you gave yourself. Saying no never affects your appointment.
You can still reply STOP to any message to end it, exactly as with consent given on this website.
What we send after you opt in
Replies to questions you text us, and service-related follow-ups about your appointments, scheduling, treatment-plan questions, and your account. Message frequency varies with how often you book. Ella Cress Skin Care does not send promotional or marketing messages from this number.
Withdrawing consent
You can withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP to any message from us, which stops all further texts immediately. Reply HELP for help, or contact Ella Cress Skin Care at ella@ellacress.com or (720) 432-7546. Message and data rates may apply.
Privacy of your number
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
